I am French-Mexican and, with my German wife, we were very happy partnering with Daniela and the Finbird team for the financing of our family house in Kelkheim (Taunus).
The whole process was very smooth and professional. From the very beginning of our collaboration, and before we found the ideal plot for our house, Daniela provided us with:
1. Clarity on how the mortgage application process works and which documents you need to gather
2. A good idea of what you can expect in terms of financing conditions
3. Interesting market insights and recommendations on how to structure the mortgage
Once we found the plot, and were ready to launch the application process, things ran very smoothly, and it was easy to complete and submit the application (everything was digital).
Once submitted, the Bank confirmed and pre-approved in less than a week. It was impressive how fast and without any additional questions the Bank responded positively. I think how Danieal structures the process and help her clients going through it really facilitates the bank’s work. Findbird adds tremendous value being between you and the Bank.
Anecdote: The deal was closed a Friday CoB just before Christmas and, thanks to Daniela’s push, we got the KfW credit lines just minutes before they scheme was stopped/suspended.
Daniela’s advice was very helpful beyond the mortgage itself: For instance, she provided valuable insights on how to fairly price the offer we did to buy the plot for our house and even helped us with a template to make the offer in German!
